Grampa's Trash Disposal Guidelines

TO ENSURE QUALITY SERVICE:

  • Each week please have your cart out by the side of the road the night before your service or NO LATER THAN 7 a.m. on your pick up day. Drivers are on a tight schedule and cannot return if you fail to have your trash out in time.
  • After your first week of service, please continue placing your trash container where your driver has placed it.  The time of your service cannot be guaranteed and may vary, so again, please make sure your container is out and visible by 7 a.m.
  • Each cart must have at least 6 feet of space on all sides, free from obstructions including mailboxes, cars and other containers.  If the container was blocked by any obstructions and not dumped on your normal pick up day, it is not the driver’s responsibility to return.
  • Place your container at your curb/roadside with the arrows on the container lid pointing to the street.  If the container is placed backwards, this impedes proper dumping and will spill trash onto the street/road.
  • All waste must be bagged in your container.  Loose trash is easily caught by the wind and litters our streets and roads.

Please follow these guidelines to ensure quality uninterrupted trash service.  If your garbage is not collected, call Grampa’s Trash Service, LLC at (208)357-1998 as soon as possible.  If your trash was set out by 7 a.m. and mistakenly missed by us, every attempt will be made to collect your garbage by the end of the day.  In most cases it will be necessary for us to collect the garbage the following week on your normal scheduled pick up day.  If your trash was not dumped due to a delinquent account status and payment is made after your driver has already been by, we will not be able to pick up your trash until the following week on your normal scheduled pick up day.
